Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with internal and external resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective order fulfillment
  • Develop an understanding of the company’s automated order routing logic
  • Analyze and compare freight costs among carriers, drop-ship vendors and our internally managed truck fleet
  • Make logistics decisions that ensure customer satisfaction in regards to timely delivery while also considering company costs to ship
  • Build an understanding of our product sizes and weights, stocking practices and shipping/delivery options
  • Quickly and independently identify, solve and implement solutions for order routing problems/issues that may arise
  • With regards to order routing and delivery, ensure customer’s questions, concerns or issues are addressed in a timely, professional manner
  • Assist with the development and implementation of processes for customer credits, returns and delivery fees
  • Actively work with all departments to identify areas for process improvement and help develop creative solutions
  • Contribute to our team-oriented environment by maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all correspondence both within and outside the company


  • Detail Oriented/Analytical
  • Strong computer and technology skills (ecommerce, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.)
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately maintain multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possess a passion for excellence and think with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Driven and self-motivated with a desire to learn
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Previous experience in customer service or logistics a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
