Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Clark Associates, Inc. is a rapidly-growing, multi-divisional company in Central Pennsylvania. We are currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant to aid our growing procurement team.

Job Description

  • Enter new products in computer system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proofread and make necessary corrections to items and product descriptions.
  • Comparison shop items on the internet
  • Research new products and companies for potential new items and relationships.
  • Assist Buyers with purchasing functions including but not limited to: Order placement, tracking, invoice payment, and shipment problem solving.
  • Assist buyer in ensuring inventory level of product is well managed and product shipping maintains high efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must have both alpha and numeric typing skills
  • Detail oriented, good problem solving skills, and professional
  • Must have ability to work independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel required, and Access a plus
