The Transportation Manager position is designed for intermediate level candidates who are interested in continuing a management career in the field of operations and supply chain management. The Transportation Manager will have the opportunity to experience each segment in our day-to-day operations from inbound to outbound in the onboarding process. They will then be challenged to use this foundation of knowledge to develop and institute new ideas, tools, and procedures to not only support the growth of our business but also ensure the best service is being delivered to our customers.
In your Management role you will be held accountable for the day to day decisions regarding the input, movement, process, and output of operations to ensure increased quality, inventory accuracy, and service. Proactive decision making and the ability to approach problems creatively will be a must. This position is responsible for providing clear and frequent communication to all teams on the facility’s productivity, accuracy, company policies, and procedures. An essential function of the Manager is to motivate employees to keep pace with our explosive growth while maintaining challenging deadlines.
