Job Title: Logistics Manager

Hometown Provisions, a Clark Associates company, is looking for dedicated and hardworking candidates that have leadership qualities to join our growing company as a Logistics Manager.  The leaders and managers within the distribution center play a key part of growing our business and serving the purchasing needs of foodservice professionals nationwide.  

Position Summary:

The Logistics Manager position is designed for intermediate level candidates who are interested in continuing a management career in the field of operations and supply chain management.  The Logistics Manager will have the opportunity to experience each segment in our day-to-day operations from inbound to outbound in the onboarding process.  They will then be challenged to use this foundation of knowledge to develop and institute new ideas, tools, and procedures to not only support the growth of our business but also ensure the best service is being delivered to our customers. 

In your Management role you will be held accountable for the day to day decisions regarding the input, movement, process, and output of operations to ensure increased quality, inventory accuracy, and service.  Proactive decision making and the ability to approach problems creatively will be a must. This position is responsible for providing clear and frequent communication to all teams on the facility’s productivity, accuracy, company policies, and procedures.  An essential function of the Manager is to motivate employees to keep pace with our explosive growth while maintaining challenging deadlines.

  • Achieve high performance standards while coaching, training, and developing employees on best practices of our business
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment which is always adapting to better serve our customers
  • Analyze opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiency
  • Continually improve productivity targets and process improvements


  • 2-5 years in a proven supervisory or management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Exhibit strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Passion for supply chain management, logistics, and constant process improvement
  • Demonstrate maturity, responsibility and leadership ability
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be able to push and pull up to 150 lbs, as well as lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to constantly bend, reach, and stand throughout shift
