An Assistant Branch Manager with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with their responsibilities within their location while achieving the following standards:

  • Operating branch location in absence of Branch Manager
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining comprehensive view of location’s needs and functions
  • Developing and training career-minded team of 15 to 25 people
  • Firm understanding of DiSC to build cohesive team
  • Promoting team atmosphere to aid in building success
  • Supporting role in assisting all lead positions within the location
  • Assisting Branch manager with schedule needs for location
  • Managing customer situations and sales issues
  • Membership and Gold Membership growth year over year
  • Maintaining accurate inventory control
  • Growth and utilization of
  • Safety and maintenance of the building and equipment

This position has the following physical requirements:

  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
