Job Title: AR/3D Artist-Remote

WebstaurantStore is looking for self-motivated and detail-oriented candidates to join our rapidly growing company as a AR/3D Artist-remotely. Successful candidates will provide experience that demonstrates strong skills in the creation of photo-realistic and AR assets. You should possess excellent modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation skills. Collaborate with other team members who thrive in an open, honest, and respectful working relationships.

You will be expected to stay on task and show initiative while following our workflows and brand. This team will see enormous growth in 2021 and beyond. It is required that you submit an online portfolio of your modeling, texturing and rendering skills with your application.

As a 3D Artist you will:  

  • Collaborate with other artists to create believable 3D & AR assets of our products.
  • Reference product photos or 3D scans to ensure models have accurate color, composition, and details.
  • Deliver assets within the confines of real-time engine constraints and programming demands.
  • Conceptualize, present, and execute ideas within a schedule, while actively participating in technical and artistic problem solving.
  • Use creativity and critical thinking to solve problems.
  • Organize and upload files according to department standards.
  • Help define process improvements.
  • Provide accurate time estimates of how long it will take to complete a task, including assessing technical restrictions, iteration, and review time

 We are looking for driven, motivated candidates who:

  • Are proficient in Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Substance, Marmoset and more.
  • Are familiar with rigging, weight painting, and animation principles.
  • Have experience staging, lighting, and presenting 3D assets.
  • Have experience with Arnold and/or real-time render software.
  • Have extensive experience working within a PBR pipeline.
  • Have extensive experience with UV unwrapping.
  • Are attentive to detail, take initiative, and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
  • Hold themselves and others to high standards.

Submission/Portfolio requirements:

  • Portfolio, and/or reel demonstrating relevant photo realistic modeling skills required. Please include 10-15 best examples of your work, 3-5 Texture Sheets including diffuse, roughness, normal, and metallic maps, and lighting examples.
