Job Title: 3rd Shift Material Handler

Company: The Restaurant Store, Inc.

Overview:

      An Operations Professional works to down stock and front the store each day.  Typically, an Operations Professional should be someone who enjoys repetitious work tasks and likes hands-on work. Operations Professionals report to the Merchandising Manager/Specialist in the building. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Down stock reserve merchandise to selling areas
  • Front stock merchandise to provide a “grand opening” appearance every day
  • Follow priority list
  • Execute operational tasks given by upper management
  • Provide excellent customer service when needed without entering into sales advisory conversations
  • Keep work areas neat and clean
  • May be asked to operate a forklift

 

Requirements: 

  • Basic knowledge of business model
  • A strong work ethic
  • Ability to think critically
  • Possess a positive attitude toward coworkers
  • Basic communication skills
  • Honest, trust-worthy
  • A professional appearance
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs with repetition
  • Ability to climb ladders repeatedly
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, and lift repetitively for an 8 hour shift
