Position Summary:
The Restaurant Store is looking for a creative professional to join our growing in-house marketing team as a Web Designer. This exciting position provides an opportunity to collaborate with marketing managers, front end developers, and programmers to execute improvements to our ecommerce website.
Our team is currently set up to work seamlessly from home, however the ability to be on-site at our Lancaster, Pennsylvania campus is preferred for training purposes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Problem solving and innovation through user research and development
Creating wireframes and mockups for improved or new site features
Managing our design system and ensuring our site meets accessibility compliance and takes mobile-first approach
Collaborating on updates to our website and internally built systems with our marketing and front-end development teams
Creating documentation and training tools for use of back-end functions
Balancing multiple projects and managing your own workload
Communicating with stakeholders and managers on the status of projects
Collaborating with the design team to keep on top of industry and technology trends
Working alongside a high performing marketing team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company
What We’re Looking For:
A portfolio that demonstrates strength in ecommerce website design and proficiency in HTML/CSS, *A portfolio is required for consideration
A visual storyteller who generates creative ideas and has expertise in UI/UX best practices
A creative thinker who can solve complex design challenges and bring new ideas to the table
A detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and take initiative
A team player with excellent communication skills who thrives on doing what’s right
An organized, dependable person with a solid work ethic
Experience with CRM integrations, web tracking tools (Google Analytics), and Wordpress a plus
