Job Title: Logistics Leadership Trainee - Outbound

About the Position

We are looking for candidates to join our team as entry-level candidates who aspire to have the opportunity to eventually join the leadership team. We believe this is critical to being prepared to problem solve and successfully lead a team in a growing company. Our hope would be to find a candidate who would then fill a leadership position within the first 1-2 years of employment.

Logistics is a diverse department that is composed of several individual teams, each focusing on a different area of our supply chain including sourcing within our extensive internal distribution network, drop shipping with vendors, or transportation of orders to customers.

Initial Responsibilities

  • Make and execute decisions regarding delivery needs of customer orders
  • Manage relationships with transportation providers, vendors, Customer Service, and others to help resolve shipping issues
  • Proactively problem solve and communicate with appropriate departments when product or customer service issues arise
  • Follow up on order and shipping errors to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor key department metrics, including profitability, to identify opportunities for team improvement
  • Collaborate with others in Logistics to ensure fast processing of orders
  • Evaluate current processes and suggest any appropriate improvements to increase efficiency and better the customer experience
  • Investigate processing as well as customer problems and provide strategic solutions
