WebstaurantStore, the web’s largest restaurant supply company, is looking for a full-time Junior SEO Specialist to enrich our world-class search marketing team in this dynamic, fast-growing company. The Junior SEO Specialist will be responsible for working across departments on the development, execution, and especially the promotion of new content and features to increase external backlinks, grow organic website traffic, improve user engagement, and lift revenue.
What you will be doing:
Monitor referral traffic to our site and understand the properties who are sending us traffic.
Investigate and analyze the link-building, content, and SEO strategies of our competitors.
Monitor our backlink profile for anomalies, relationship building opportunities, and SEO opportunities.
Learn and utilize advanced search techniques to identify potential link opportunities.
Monitor technical aspects of our internal and external URLs, such as indexation, crawlability, nofollow, etc.
Work closely with SEO Analysts on special projects related to outreach.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Prior experience with search engine optimization, link-building, and outreach reporting.
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and DataStudio.
Working knowledge of recognized SEO toolsets such as: Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Majestic, or Moz

Access to a home router and modem.
A dedicated home office space that is noise and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
