Job Title: Senior Employee Experience Specialist (Sr. HR Business Partner)

The Clark Associates Companies are looking for a Senior Employee Experience Specialist to join our rapidly growing company.  This position reports to the Director of Employee Experience and plays an integral role in providing employment-related guidance and support to all employees. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as subject matter expert and primary resource for employment-related matters 
  • Provide advice and counsel managers on employment-related matters including but not limited to policy interpretation, leave of absences, hiring/firing, corrective action matters, investigations 
  • Prepare materials and lead employment-related trainings on various employment topics 
  • Partner with leadership and general counsel to resolve escalated employment matters 
  • Review, recommend, develop and implement policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations 
  • Advise on trends and changes in employment environment 
  • Partner with leadership and managers to identify opportunities and exposure while recommending most appropriate courses of action 
  • Consult and advise management and employees on items such as FMLA and ADA to include consistent communication methods, tracking, training and reporting of information 
  • Partner with leadership, managers and benefits staff in promoting various company projects and initiatives 
  • Provide support in areas such as unemployment, exit interviews, job description review and FLSA classifications 
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential company/employee information 
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field 
  • Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local employment law and regulations 
  • 3+ years of progressive experience desired 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
