Job Title: Financial Audit Analyst

Company: Webstaurant Store, Inc.

WebstaurantStore, the world’s largest online restaurant supply company, is looking for a full-time Financial Audit Analyst to drive process improvements while evaluating current practices, making recommendations, and implementing changes into our current accounting practices. This position reports directly to the Controller and is a newly created position based off the strong growth our company has seen.

Key Responsibilities include:

·        Shadow and be educated on all entities of Clark Associates to fully understand operations and intercompany relationships

·        Evaluate, analyze, and create necessary accounting documentation, reports, flowcharts, and complete walkthroughs of internal processes

·        Understand the organization’s inventory processes and assure accurate accounting practices are established

·        Identify the financial risk of the organizations and offer recommendations to reduce risk

·        Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved

·        Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations

·        Act as the liaison between outside audit firms and Clark Associate entities to help lead a smooth audit process

·        Present findings to upper management in the form of reports, presentations, and opinions

·        Oversee risk management and control management to maximize operations' effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance

·        Develop and facilitate annual audit plans and create follow-through plans with stakeholders on findings

·        Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and achievement of goals

·        Identify areas where internal controls and separation of duties can be implemented

Internal Auditor Requirements and Qualifications:

·        BS degree in Accounting or Finance

·        3-5 years of audit experience as an internal auditor or senior auditor preferred

·       Strong knowledge of GAAP and track record of implementing financial changes in accordance to GAAP

·        Advanced computer skills including MS Office, accounting software, and databases

·        Ability to consistently and accurately manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed, clear reports

·        Proven working knowledge of all applicable auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and industry regulations

·        A high degree of aptitude regarding attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

·        Willingness to demonstrate leadership skills and make sound independent judgments
