We recognize the value of our employees and the support we receive from the local community. Because our company's culture emphasizes responsibility and sharing with others, we are honored to give back to the cities that surround our offices and warehouse locations through the Clark Associates Charitable Foundation. The Foundation was formally organized in 2001 to emulate the Clark families' ideals and beliefs of giving back to the community.
The Clark Associates Charitable Foundation has donated over $19 million dollars since 2001.
We've proudly committed over 1500 hours of our time to volunteer work in our communities since 2016.
Clark Associates has contributed to over 600 different charitable organizations in nine states.
The Clark Associates Charitable Foundation now annually gives over $4 million in grants to organizations that care for the health and welfare of others in need. We support youth organizations that focus on enriching the arts and expanded education. Many of these gifts support the non-profits our employees or their immediate families actively volunteer with or have even benefitted from!
The Clark Associates High School Mentorship Program is designed to help students learn more about themselves and experience a work environment that will help them make informed decisions for their lives as they leave high school. The mentorship program is a nine-session program spanning the school year. Students meet monthly for a 3.5-hour session with Clark Associates professionals in the field of interest to the students. Mentor categories include accounting, marketing/graphic arts, and purchasing/supply chain management.
The Foundation has contributed to over 400 different charitable organizations spanning across nine states.
To commemorate our 50th Anniversary, the Clark Foundation has made a $5 million gift to the Lancaster Conservancy to create the Clark Nature Preserve.
This gift is designed to be a permanent expression of our thanks to both our employees and the greater community, without whom Clark Associates would not be what it is today.
This preserve offers dense woodlands, native grass meadows, and stunning views of the Susquehanna River.
Our short trail loop leads visitors to a breathtaking overlook before circling back around.
A new trail in honor of Lloyd Clark, a hunter and outdoor enthusiast himself, will be added next year.
