Clark Associates, Inc. is pleased to kick off its 2026 Summer Intern Program with 76 students from 49 different academic institutions and tech schools nationwide. The program offers these young professionals the opportunity to gain valuable experience across all areas of the business.
The company’s dedication to remote work continues to draw top-tier talent from diverse educational backgrounds across the country. This year, the most represented schools are Penn State University, Drexel University, the University of Michigan, the University of Pittsburgh, Millersville University, and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
Clark offers interns hands-on experience in various business segments, from equipment and distribution to development, brick-and-click sales, and e-commerce.
Alongside practical job training, interns will deepen their understanding of the food service industry and develop essential soft skills. They'll hone their communication and teamwork abilities and enhance their adaptability. This experience will also foster personal growth and lay the foundation for meaningful career development.
Interns have the opportunity to explore career interests and learn more about Clark through virtual and in-person activities. These valuable activities range from résumé reviews to social networking events. Additionally, interns participate in “Learn How to Dream,” a signature group discussion led by company founder and chairman Fred Clark.
A special “Senior Leadership Panel” is also hosted, featuring vice presidents from a range of company sectors who share their career histories, key lessons learned, and insights into their current roles. This event provides a space for interns to ask thoughtful questions about their future career interests and gain firsthand perspectives from people at the top of their fields.
Interns are invited to take part in the company’s volunteer day at Long’s Park in Lancaster, PA, offering a chance to give back and connect with the community.
As the program wraps up, each intern will present their accomplishments before peers, managers, and the executive leadership team. To help them prepare, interns will receive coaching and feedback to strengthen their presentation skills.
Clark’s Ambassador Program encourages employees to stay connected with their alma maters and engage with current students through outreach and relationship-building opportunities.
Clark also fosters strong partnerships with 17 colleges and universities through its Charitable Foundation. This network allows employees to attend career fairs, present in classrooms, and host site visits to our Lititz headquarters.
Clark’s Summer Intern Program is designed to equip students with the skills and experience needed for long-term success. Interns leave the program with valuable professional and personal development that supports their future career paths.
