After graduating from Bloomsburg in 2010 and spending a few years within the financial service industry, I joined Clark Associates in 2014. I started as an Assistant Buyer and quickly began taking on new challenges and responsibilities to lead me to my current role as a Director of Purchasing, Janitorial/Chemical. Clark Associates allows me to bring an entrepreneurial approach to my position, helping me develop and grow our Janitorial and Chemical category. It’s extremely rewarding to know that your work can directly impact the growth of the company.

Not only is Clark Associates a great company to start your professional career, but Lancaster, Pennsylvania is also a great place to raise a family. Coming from someone who didn’t grow up in this area, I now can’t see myself leaving. I’m grateful to have found a company I know I can grow alongside with.

I moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to pursue a career in teaching after graduating from Bloomsburg University in May 2012. Once I had been teaching for almost 2 years, I decided that I wanted to explore the business field. I quickly saw the benefits Clark Associates had to offer, from the volunteering opportunities to career growth! I had no prior knowledge of working in Purchasing or working with restaurant equipment, but I learned a lot thanks to the hands-on training, vendor presentations, and the leadership here. I worked really hard to get up to speed and soak in all the knowledge I could.

Purchasing is such an exciting department to be in, since every day is different. My favorite projects are inventory management, forecasting, and category management. It’s a great feeling when I see a line grow and be successful! I also appreciate the opportunities for career growth. If you’re hardworking and smart, management will get you in a position that works for you!

After graduating from Bloomsburg University in the spring of 2012, I started working at the WebstaurantStore as a Customer Solutions Specialist. Utilizing the knowledge and skills learned through my business courses and previous experience in food service, I was promoted to a Category Expert at the WebstaurantStore within my first year. I thoroughly enjoyed that role and was able to apply those skills to transition into a new role two years later as a Product Specialist at ClarkPRO, a division of Clark Food Service Equipment. This proves how well the company is able to offer so many opportunities for growth!

My career here has been an amazing experience and I love making a positive impact on a rapidly growing company. My job as a Product Specialist entails offering a superior customer experience through deep knowledge of products and specific customer preferences. My favorite things about working at ClarkPRO are seeing sales grow within each account, having the opportunity to offer new ideas, and working with such an efficient team. I am very grateful to be a part of this company and plan on making this impact for many more years!
