"I feel that I am challenged every day and am constantly learning something new..."

At Franklin and Marshall College, I dual majored in Business and Chemistry. While I was indecisive about my future career plans, the internship program at Clark Associates provided me a great opportunity to use my talents and contribute to an extremely successful company. I enjoyed the internship experience so much that I chose to pursue a position at Clark after graduation!

I feel that I am challenged every day and am constantly learning something new. I love all the perks we get as employees – it’s great to be a part of a comfortable office environment and community! I am genuinely excited to go into work every day to accomplish our goals while also developing confidence in myself and my abilities!

"Working at Clark has consistently allowed me to develop as a leader and learn about all of the different aspects of our business. "

I graduated from F&M in 2017 with a double major in Chemistry and Economics and I wanted to find a job where I could both challenge the analytic skills I had developed in college and be challenged to develop skills that I didn’t yet have. I found out about Clark Associates from a friend who worked here and it was an opportunity that immediately caught my attention. In the buyer role I was immediately given responsibility and started managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and coordinating marketing. Managing the entire life cycle of my products is something very unique to Clark that has challenged me on a daily basis.

Since then I’ve had the opportunity to develop my own procurement team and grow my responsibility. Working at Clark has consistently allowed me to develop as a leader and learn about all of the different aspects of our business. Having all of these challenges and development occur within the first year is something I feel is rare, making this an opportunity I am very happy I took.

"I was fascinated by the community, potential for growth, and overall personal satisfaction they all described. I knew that I wanted to be a part of it."

Since first arriving at F&M, I fell in love with its community and that of Lancaster. As a performance-driven Music major, I began interning with a local orchestra, Allegro Lancaster. It was here that I met Gene Clark, as well as a few other employees of Clark. I was fascinated by the community, potential for growth, and overall personal satisfaction they all described. I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. Just two weeks after my graduation, I walked in as their newest employee.

Clark has always proven to be an environment that is dedicated to the growth of me and my colleagues as much as the growth of the company itself. I’m genuinely excited to walk into an office that fosters teamwork, innovation, education, and success every day. I’m very proud to be a part of Clark.

"I am happy to have found a company that will invest in me and that I can grow alongside with."

I started in the Procurement department shortly after graduating from F&M in 2017. In the Procurement department I am able to oversee a product during every stage of its life cycle, from sourcing the product to determining a stocking strategy, planning marketing, and setting the sales price.

What ultimately drew me to Clark was the incredible growth potential and entrepreneurial spirit of the company. I absolutely love that after a little over a year I was given control over my own product lines and my team, able to make day-to-day decisions by myself. Speaking with friends that took jobs at similar e-commerce companies, this level of independence is very hard to come by. I am happy to have found a company that will invest in me and that I can grow alongside with.

"I am grateful that Clark Associates is willing to invest in me, and that I have the ability to learn and grow on a consistent basis with talented and driven individuals around me."

I began working at Clark Associates shortly after graduating from Franklin and Marshall College in 2019. F&M challenged me to think critically amidst various situations, and sharpened my communication skills. This has continued in the Procurement department, where I oversee a team that manages products in each stage of its life cycle. We source products, negotiate great pricing, manage the logistics and inventory, and strategize creative marketing solutions to ultimately generate business with our customers.

One of the many things that drew me to Clark Associates was the incredible growth potential and entrepreneurial spirit of the company. I appreciate the responsibility entrusted to me, and have learned a significant amount over the past 2 years. I realize this level of empowerment is not common at such an early stage, but Clark Associates values creative thinking and learning from mistakes. I am grateful that Clark Associates is willing to invest in me, and that I have the ability to learn and grow on a consistent basis with talented and driven individuals around me.
