Parts Project Manager

"A lot of value is placed on new, innovative solutions and solid industry experience, and I feel fortunate to work for a place that gives its employees the tools and resources needed to provide both..."

I graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2011 and began working at WebstaurantStore that autumn. I currently work as a Project Manager on the Parts Team, where I help writers craft informative product descriptions for things like thermostats, burners, and electronic controls, while also working to make the site more user-friendly for customers shopping for replacement parts. The type of content we write requires a lot of attention to detail and background research, and I really feel like LVC gave me a good skillset for the type of work I do.

WebstaurantStore is also just a great place to work, largely due to the company culture. A lot of value is placed on new, innovative solutions and solid industry experience, and I feel fortunate to work for a place that gives its employees the tools and resources needed to provide both for our customers. I learned those values at LVC, and it is fulfilling to work with a community that appreciates them just as much. Other perks like catered lunches, games in the break room, and a cooking class on your birthday month make it even more enjoyable to work here!

"WebstaurantStore is ahead of the game by leaps and bounds compared to many other companies and I’m thrilled to be a part of it!"

After graduating from Lebanon Valley College in 2012 I was unsure of the exact career path for me. I majored in Elementary and Special Education due to my passion to help those with intellectual disabilities, but quickly realized that the education system wasn’t exactly what I envisioned. Shifting gears, it was difficult to find a company that looked beyond such a specific major and recognized skills that were transferable to professions outside of teaching. However, in 2015, I applied to WebstaurantStore and the Customer Solutions department gave me a chance!

Within one year of working at WEB, I was promoted to a Team Leader – coaching reps through complex issues, providing feedback to promote continual improvement, and collaborating on strategic planning to keep up with our ever-changing and growing department. In January of 2018, I was granted another opportunity with Clark Associates – managing PRO Marketplace within CFSE, focusing now on increasing sales while providing high level service for more sophisticated, complex customers. My Clark story in three short years is a testament to two amazing things this company offers—looking at qualities outside of length of service when promoting employees, and its rapid growth which leads to many opportunities. I look forward to my continued involvement in Clark’s growth as it’s clear there’s no stopping any time soon!

"This atmosphere encourages employees to find, and pursue, work-related interests. The end result is the creation of employees who are excited about, and excel in, their roles..."

I started working at WebstaurantStore as a Photo Editor Intern during my senior year at Lebanon Valley College. One of the best parts about doing an internship at WebstaurantStore was how accommodating my managers were in creating a work schedule that meshed with my class schedule. After graduating in May, I began working as a part time Photo Editor before earning a full time opportunity in August 2014.

One of my favorite things about working at WebstaurantStore is the atmosphere in which individuals feel comfortable voicing their opinions, suggestions, and criticisms in a productive way. This reminded me of the classroom environments I experienced at Lebanon Valley College. At WebstaurantStore, we are encouraged to think of ways to improve our daily functions and the company as a whole. This atmosphere encourages employees to find, and pursue, work-related interests. The end result is the creation of employees who are excited about, and excel in, their roles.
