(Lancaster, PA) – On Friday, November 20, 2020, 276 Clark Associates employees participated in the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s annual Extraordinary Give event, donating over $52,665 to 195 deserving organizations. These donations were increased to $82,665 through an additional $30,000 given in match dollars by the Clark Associates Charitable Foundation.
Clark leaders carefully selected six organizations to receive the Charitable Foundation’s match dollars, and employees chose which of the following organizations to give their match dollars to:
• Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster: $6,000
• Meals on Wheels Lancaster: $5,700
• Mennonite Disaster Service: $6,600
• Music for Everyone: $1,800
• Pennsylvania College of Art & Design: $1,500
• Water Street Mission: $8,400
The Extraordinary Give is Lancaster County’s largest day of giving. Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Extraordinary Give event broke a fundraising record this year, raising $13,439,850 for 522 local organizations in 24 hours. Over 30,000 people from the community joined together in support of this event. To date, the campaign has raised over $66 million since it began in 2012.
Thanks to the generosity of our employees, Clark Associates was recognized as the top business fundraiser both in dollars and total donors on the Extraordinary Give website for this year’s event. A local customer recognized the impact of Clark employees, sharing this feedback with CEO Gene Clark:
